NINTENDO Gameboy Advance SP Console 0 GB

The Game Boy Advance SP remedies some weaknesses of its predecessor (the Game Boy Advance). Firstly, the screen of the GBA SP is finally equipped with first-class lighting, as the screen of the "old" GBA, on which it was often very difficult to follow the action, was one of the biggest criticisms. In that respect, it is now pure enjoyment: with the GBA SP you can play perfectly in the dark! Also new: Nintendo has equipped the GBA SP with a high-quality lithium-ion battery, similar to those found in mobile phones, for example. With the backlight switched off, you can play for up to 18 hours uninterrupted; with the light on, it's still ten hours. And while charging with the supplied adapter, you can continue playing, another big plus. The most striking change of the GBA SP compared to the GBA is immediately apparent: the housing has been completely redesigned and is now foldable. This has the advantage that when transporting the folded GBA, both the screen and the control buttons are protected, and moreover, the new housing with three different metallic finishes simply looks great! However, the internals of the GBA SP have remained unchanged; it contains the same hardware as the Game Boy Advance, and the SP is of course still compatible with almost all Game Boy (Color) games. Unfortunately, the headphone jack has been omitted, although corresponding adapters are available from various accessory manufacturers or directly from Nintendo. Conclusion: A great device that you will want to take with you everywhere thanks to its handy dimensions (and great looks)! --Ines Heidrich (Information from the manufacturer)
