With Patton's Multi Level Cooking System, you can expand the possibilities of your 15 or 16-inch Kamado in a calm and logical way. This system gives you more control over heat and arrangement, without changing the basics of barbecuing. You choose how to use it, matching the dish you want to prepare.

Work with one or more cooking zones

The two stainless steel half-moon grates can be placed at the same height for an even grilling surface, but also at different heights on the left and right. This allows you to determine how intensely you want to grill. Cooking close to the coals provides more direct heat, while more distance ensures slower cooking. This makes it possible to grill vegetables, for example, while a piece of meat is gently cooking, without constant intervention.

Easily switch between direct and indirect cooking

Place the two half-plate setters at the bottom. If you use them together, you create a completely indirect setup suitable for low & slow preparations. If you use them separately, you combine direct and indirect grilling side-by-side. This allows you to adjust the setup to what you want to prepare at that moment, from classic grilling to slow cooking.

Expand your kamado with other cooking techniques

The central frame has an opening for using a wok pan, ideal for quick cooking over direct heat. In this setup, you do not use grill grates or plate setters. Additionally, the Multi Level Cooking System can be expanded with accessories such as a cast iron half-moon grill grate or a cast iron half-moon griddle. These fit into the same setup and offer extra variety in cooking methods without changing the basics.
