A Dutch special forces team, led by commander John de Koning, is sent in the greatest secrecy to Nigeria to free a hostage kidnapped by Boko Haram. The mission goes horribly wrong and ends in a nightmare. A few years later, John ( Werner Kolf ) becomes embroiled in a series of mysterious murders and deception, betrayal and the traumas of that secret mission turn his and his old teammates' lives completely upside down.
