This hub works on all types and models of Macbooks and iPads with USB-C connection (including M1 and M2 model Macbook).

Note: Do you have a Windows laptop and want to use the USB-C port? Make sure the USB-C port on your Windows laptop supports "DP Alt mode." This is required to send a video signal over the USB-C port. All adapters and hubs with HDMI require this. Macbook, Macbook Pro, Mac Mini and other Apple products with USB-C have DP Alt mode by default.
