The screen protector is made of 9H tempered glass, which means that the screen protector is highly resistant to scratches. The hardness of a screen protector's glass is indicated by a value from 1 to 10. For comparison, a diamond has a hardness of 10 and a phone screen has a hardness between 5 and 6. The letter indicates the hardness of a pencil and is tested based on scratches made by the hardest pencil on the glass. This involves using pencils with a hardness ranging from 6B (the softest) to 9H (the hardest). When testing, a pencil is pressed against the screen protector at a 45-degree angle. If no scratches or damage occurs with a 9H pencil, the screen protector is rated 9H.
