Samuel Peters (Edward Furlong), a real boring average man, tries to use voodoo to resurrect his deceased wife from the dead. In the process, he meets the god of evil, Kalfu (Corey Feldman), with whom he makes a pact to plunge the world into chaos and darkness. In return, he becomes the king of the zombies and can spend eternity with his wife.

The dead rise and the zombies terrorize a small village and its inhabitants. The government immediately sends the army on the zombies and the village and manages to hermetically lock the zombies as well as the survivors in the village. Anyone who tries to escape is immediately shot.

Trapped in the town, the survivors must work together to defeat the zombie king and his horde of zombies and ensure that the god of evil will not take over the world. Will they manage to survive or will the Zombie King and his horde of zombies destroy the entire world?
