The Smart Radiator Thermostat X works with the universal smart home standard Matter. For the network connection, you use the included Bridge X, which functions as a Thread Border Router.

With Smart Schedules, you can plan when and how each room should be heated. Additionally, tado° detects open windows without external sensors and sends a notification to your phone to turn down the heating. tado° also takes the weather into account and adjusts the heating when the sun shines in. In the app, you will also find information about indoor air quality, your heating behavior, and your energy savings.

Control is via the app, the premium touchscreen on the device, or via voice commands. According to the source, this works with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant. The more compact design is intended for intuitive installation and operation. The integrated battery of the Smart Radiator Thermostat X is rechargeable via USB-C. A USB-C charging cable is not included.

The Smart Radiator Thermostats X fit on almost any radiator with radiator valves. Adapters are included. The robust metal nut seals tightly onto the radiator.
