This Tado bundle combines a starter kit with Bridge X and multiple Smart Radiator Knob X extensions. The bundle is intended for smart control of multiple radiators within the same smart home system. This allows you to manage different radiators individually with products from the Tado Series X.
The included Smart Radiator Knob X is suitable for radiators and supports control via the Tado app on Android and iOS. Additionally, control is also possible via voice control, the rotary knob on the device, and the integrated LCD screen. The products support Wi-Fi, app connection, IFTTT, and internet notifications. SMS notifications and a home PC alarm system are not supported.
The radiator knobs have features such as open window detection, geofencing, adjustable zones, and self-learning operation. Child lock is also present. The smart home application area is focused on energy management and thermostats. The specified range is 30 meters.
The starter kit includes a Bridge X for connection to the home network. The additional radiator knobs are extension products and only work in combination with a Bridge X or a Thread Border Router, as explicitly stated in the source information. The products are made of black plastic and use a lithium-ion battery.
