The Definion 3 is our most wanted high-end model. A floorstanding speaker that can do everything a reference speaker is characterized by, only not expensive.

SCA technology – developed at Teufel's headquarters in Berlin
All speakers in this set are equipped with the Synchronized Coaxial Acoustics (SCA) technology, specially developed for the Definion series, which creates harmonious sound without phase distortion. The tweeter and the midrange driver are merged into one component.

The result of this construction is spectacular, as all frequencies reach the listener's ear simultaneously, which in turn ensures extremely precise and natural sound.

• Sound is perceived as a single sound source, just like in reality
• An even dispersion pattern ensures that you hear the sound equally well – wherever you are in the room
• Better spatial sound than with separate tweeters
• The flat diaphragm of the midrange driver is constructed in such a way that it does not restrict the sound of the tweeter in front of it in any way
• The frequencies do not interfere with each other, allowing for precise sound reproduction

CFC diaphragm with wok woofer
Wok woofers have no protection in the center and thus resemble a wok pan the most, hence the name. Carbon ensures strength but is still a light material. The result is high mobility, also called long-throw, which gives the wok woofer extremely precise bass performance with a cut-off frequency of 50 Hz. Remarkable for a speaker that is only 14 cm wide at the back.

Neutral, balanced and close to the original
Our sound engineers have designed a fairly linear frequency response for the Definion series, which results in a neutral and extremely balanced sound reproduction at all volume levels.

If you want high-end surround sound, it is possible to upgrade to surround sound with the Definion 3 expansion set. With a center speaker, subwoofer, and rear speakers, you can now enjoy the unprecedented Definion sound with movies.
