Ever vigilant

The TP-Link security camera helps you ensure the safety of your family and belongings. Set it up toward your front door, garage door or other entrances to your home for a continuous view. As soon as the camera detects movement, such as when the delivery service passes by, you will receive a notification. To deter potential intruders, the device is equipped with lights and sound effects that you can activate yourself if necessary. When you want to keep your hands free for other tasks, you control the camera with your voice via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.

Clear images

The device captures every detail in 3 MP quality, representing 2304 x 1296 pixels. This allows you to see exactly what is happening in front of the camera and know if your fellow residents are safe. To protect these private recordings from hackers, the device stores the images on a local, separately available SD card. The maximum capacity here is 256 GB, which translates into about 512 hours of footage. So you don't have to go emptying or replacing it every so often.

Peace of mind

The camera also keeps watch over your home at night. For it is equipped with 850 nm infrared night vision, which even in low light still has a range of 9 meters. So you always go to sleep with peace of mind. At times when you are not at home, you can request the live feed via the Tapo app. That way you can keep an eye on your pet's behavior, for example. By giving your faithful companion commands via two-way audio, you also avoid mischief.

Quickly installed

Every corner of the room is easy to view, as the device has a 360-degree horizontal range. As a result, you only need one per room. Installation takes only a few minutes; you receive the necessary screws and plugs. Once the mounting plate hangs on a wall or ceiling, you can click the camera on and off whenever you want. Further configuration is done via the Tapo app, where you can find all the necessary info. Afterwards, you can request images, set recording schedules and freeze the camera's viewing angle in the app.
