From sandwich maker to contact grill

Flip the appliance open 180° and you have a flat contact grill, large enough for meat, vegetables, or paninis. Closed, it's your sandwich maker for up to 4 sandwiches at a time. The same plates, two very different dining experiences: the quick lunch on Wednesday, or the piece of meat and vegetables on a Saturday evening.

Set the temperature yourself

Whichever way you choose, you determine how far you go. If you want a sandwich with just-melted cheese and a light crust, turn the rotary knob lower. For a truly crispy panini or some color on the vegetables, turn it up further. A red light indicates that the appliance is heating up; as soon as the green light turns on, it has reached the set temperature. Note: the knob works with a setting point, not with an exact degree display.

Drip tray for grease

Especially when using the appliance as a flat grill, grease and moisture are released. A drip tray at the rear catches this neatly, so it doesn't end up on your countertop.

Cleaning

After melting and grilling, there's little left to scrub. The grill plates are not removable, but thanks to the non-stick coating, you can easily wipe the appliance clean after use. Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning.

Safe to handle
