After the tragic death of Prince Lucerys Velaryon at the hands of Prince Aemond Targaryen in Season 1 of "House of the Dragon," the Targaryen family is deeply divided. On one side, Rhaenyra Targaryen, crowned queen of Dragonstone, wants to reclaim the Iron Throne. On the other, Alicent Hightower is determined to ensure that her son Aegon retains the crown that was passed down when Viserys died.
