WIGGO WA-CF2 Extractor Hood Carbon Filter

Wiggo WE-CF2 Extractor Hood Carbon Filter Model 2

Replacing the carbon filter in your Wiggo extractor hood is a crucial step to keep your kitchen fresh and free from unwanted odors. Wiggo's carbon filters, designed with our advanced technology, are effective in capturing and neutralizing cooking fumes and odors, with a neutralization rate of up to 95-100%.

Lifespan of a Carbon Filter

The durability of a carbon filter strongly depends on how often you cook and the type of extractor hood you use. Generally, it is recommended to inspect a filter every 6 months, but our specially developed Wiggo filters have a maximum lifespan of 2 to 3 years thanks to our innovative technologies. Even without a replacement indicator, it is important to remain alert to signs that the filter needs replacement, such as reduced effectiveness in odor and fume absorption.

Replacing the Carbon Filter: A Step-by-Step Guide

Replacing a carbon filter in a Wiggo extractor hood is a simple process that you can perform yourself:

1. Remove Grease Filters: Start by removing the grease filters and the grille to access the motor compartment. This is an ideal time to give the grease filters and the extractor hood itself a good cleaning.
2. Replace the Carbon Filter: Locate the carbon filter near the motor. Carefully remove the old filter by unscrewing it and insert the new filter into the holder.
3. Reassembly and Test: Reinstall all components and check if the extractor hood is functioning correctly.

Although this guide provides a general overview, we always recommend consulting the manual of your specific model for detailed instructions. You can easily download these from our website. By following these steps, you ensure an effectively functioning extractor hood that contributes to a clean and fresh kitchen environment.
