The 17-year-old high school student Stan befriends the 3-year-old petty criminal Maikel. When the boys kill their victim in panic during a robbery, they unintentionally impress the head of the local drug mafia. The latter sees something in the boys and they quickly make a career as his death squad. Their friendship grows closer as events unfold. Only Anna, Maikel's girlfriend, poses a problem. Stan has come to feel more for her than he would like, but still manages to keep her at a distance. Then Anna finds out what makes Maikel so much money. Frightened, she appeals to Stan to help her get away. Stan must choose between Maikel and the terrified Anna. An impossible choice.
