WiFi 6E – Ultimate Wi-Fi Speed

WiFi 6E, the advanced version of the WiFi 6 standard, offers a huge leap in innovation for the Wi-Fi industry by using a third radio frequency of 6 GHz. This more than doubles Wi-Fi capacity and meets current and future demands and challenges. It includes all the benefits of WiFi 6 features such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring and applies them in the brand new and interference-free 6 GHz frequency. Wi-Fi speed can therefore more than double. Furthermore, latency is significantly reduced.

2.5 times more capacity with the new 6 GHz band

With Wi-Fi speeds of up to 7.8 Gbps, the Zyxel WAX640S-6E is a true tri-band AP (4x4 in 6GHz, 2x2 in 5GHz, 2x2 in 2.4GHz), fully equipped with WiFi 6E technology, the next generation for super-fast speeds and low-latency connections.

Zyxel's 6E Boost

The high-gain 4x4 streams in the 6 GHz design help to increase the maximum signal gain in transmit beamforming and receive MIMO, which increases the range and maximizes the performance of the new band.

The advanced 'RF First' design prevents interference

Since there is only 50 MHz between 5 GHz and 6 GHz, advanced filtering is essential to prevent interference. The advanced RF filter is used to eliminate interference and ensure performance on all channels in both bands simultaneously.

Excellent performance with Smart Antenna technology

The built-in intelligent antenna technology, proven to reduce co-channel interference, continuously monitors the connection and adaptively adjusts the antenna patterns to ensure optimal performance for each connection.

Multi-User MIMO / MU-MIMO

As part of the Wave 2 enhancement of the 802.11ac standard, Multi-User MIMO technology was introduced. By using Multi-User MIMO, this device can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously. This allows your Wi-Fi network to deliver faster throughput to each connected client. This means faster downloads and lag-free streaming for your devices.

WLAN standard 802.11ac

The 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard offers up to twice the data throughput of older standards. This improvement is achieved, firstly, by widening the transmission bandwidth. In addition, 802.11ac makes it possible to increase the number of parallel data streams (Multiple Input Multiple Output, MIMO for short) to a maximum of eight MIMO streams, while the 802.11n standard defines a maximum of four MIMO streams. Thus, large amounts of data such as videos and backups are no problem with this Wi-Fi speed.

WLAN standard 802.11ax / WiFi-6

The 802.11ax standard is the next generation Wi-Fi standard that has been continuously developed for years and with this version, also known as Wi-Fi 6, it introduces another innovation. The standard builds on the advantages of the 802.11ac standard and expands them with efficiency, flexibility, and scalability. Thus, it enables higher speeds and capacities for next-generation applications, both in new and existing networks.

Easy installation thanks to PoE

This network-ready device is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) through the LAN cable. The main advantage of PoE is that you do not need a power cable. This allows you to install Ethernet-connected devices even in hard-to-reach places or in areas where many cables would be disruptive. You save installation costs and can increase the reliability of the connected devices if desired by using a central uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
