Material
The Senja lounge chair is made of low-maintenance and weather-resistant aluminum. The aluminum is finished with a dark gray powder coating. The advantage of aluminum is that it is low-maintenance. A dirty lounge chair can easily be cleaned with a soft cloth and a soapy solution of green soap. The included cushions are wonderfully thick and made of high-quality polyester.
Maintenance
The cushions are not water-resistant, so it is wise to store them in a shed or cushion box after use. However, the cushions do have a water-repellent coating. This is ideal if, for example, drinks are spilled on the cushion, as they can be easily wiped off.
