A compact, powerful steam generator

This Philips steam iron is compact and light, yet very powerful. The device weighs only 3.4 kilos and with dimensions of 16.8 x 26.9 x 36.8 cm, it easily fits on an ironing board and takes up little space in the closet. This iron has a removable transparent water reservoir of 1.8 liters that is easy to fill thanks to the large filling opening. Thanks to this large capacity, you can iron a lot of laundry without having to refill often. The SteamGlide Advanced soleplate delivers great ironing performance on any fabric. The stainless steel base is twice as hard as a normal aluminum base. It does not stick, is scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

Continuous steam or on demand

With 2,400 watts of power, the machine generates up to 8 bar pump pressure, which produces a constant steam flow of 130 g/min and up to 600 g/min in a burst. By using a continuous steam, you can easily and efficiently remove creases from all, even the thickest, types of fabric. With an extra burst of steam, you can increase the steam jet to eliminate stubborn creases or to refresh curtains or delicate garments.

OptimalTEMP protects your clothes

Philips has equipped this steam iron with OptimalTEMP technology, which automatically adjusts the temperature to the type of fabric. You don't have to choose a fabric and wait for the iron to reach the right temperature, this device does it all itself in no time. Moreover, you run no risk of your clothes burning or shining and you do not have to sort your clothes before you start ironing. You can iron clothes made of silk, cotton or synthetic fabrics one after the other without thinking and without having to wait for the right temperature.

Economical and easy to maintain

This steam generator is made of 35-40% recycled plastic and is therefore not only environmentally friendly, but also works economically. It switches off automatically after a few minutes of inactivity, for extra safety and less energy consumption. Finally, this machine is equipped with the integrated Smart Calc Clean anti-limescale system that warns you when it is time to descale. When the process is complete, simply empty the Calc Clean reservoir and your device is ready for use again.
