What does the timer do exactly?

You set the desired time using the plus and minus buttons on the display, from 0 to 90 minutes, in minutes and seconds. Then turn the speed knob to the desired setting. When the set time has elapsed, the machine stops automatically. No action required from you.

What is the stopwatch function?

If you do not set a timer and simply turn on the machine, the display works as a stopwatch. The time automatically increases as long as the machine is running. This way you always know how long you have been working, useful for recipes that require a specific kneading time without an automatic stop.

Difference with the regular 6.2L?

Motor, bowl, hooks, and speeds are identical. The only difference is the display with timer and stopwatch. Is that worth the price difference? If you bake regularly and don't want to have to pay attention, yes.

How loud is it?

Same as the regular 6.2L. Quiet on low settings, you can hear it on higher settings. With bread dough on setting 1-2, it's normal machine noise. Reviewers of the display version hardly mention the noise as a drawback.

How do I clean it?

The stainless steel mixing bowl and whisk can go in the dishwasher. Wash the aluminum dough hook and mixing hook by hand. Clean the housing with a damp cloth. Clean the display with a slightly damp cloth, do not get water directly on the electronics.
